WORK METHODOLOGY
Cooperation with Adizes institute
Since 2019, in close cooperation with the Adizes Institute in Latvia, KRONUS takes care of the company’s transformation, analysing the company’s processes, introducing changes, and working on potential improvement points in various work groups, in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect. The transformation process was started with the diagnosis of the company and the structure of KRONUS has been transformed. KRONUS received the “Company of the Year” award for significant business achievements in implementing Adizes methodologies.
Learning plans
Since 2020, we have started creating and implementing individual study plans. Each employee, in cooperation with the manager, has the opportunity to plan his training needs based on the goals and priorities of the department and the company. Funds are allocated for each employee's priority training to ensure sufficient professional development.
Career development
At Kronus, every employee has the opportunity to grow. We regularly promote employees within the company who have demonstrated excellent professional performance, achieved and even exceeded set goals, and developed their communication and management skills.

Sales skills
Every year, the colleagues of the sales and operations departments renew their knowledge of transaction negotiation techniques; we also work with internally developed principles of export sales – how to talk with customers, how to deal with objections. These principles are alive because they develop along with the situation in the market, in our clients’ companies and also with us. That’s why we study with industry professionals, finding the most appropriate training service providers for the current training needs.

IT skills
Continuous technological development has become the new normal in every organisation. This is why the acquisition of new IT skills has become an important criterion for improving the development and competitiveness of employees and the company. We regularly provide IT skills development courses for both production plant and administration employees; we mentor and support new colleagues in learning KRONUS IT programs and systems on a daily basis.

Languages
KRONUS is an international company, so KRONUS learns languages. As a result, we embrace and celebrate linguistic diversity as an essential aspect of our organizational culture. Our team consists of talented people who speak different languages, including Latvian, Russian, English, French, German, Spanish, Lithuanian, Chinese and others. We are open to different languages and communicate daily in the best languages we know.

Management skills
As a company, KRONUS is convinced that its success is helped by strong, professional managers of various levels who care about their development and the well-being of their employees. The company has more than 30 managers of different levels, so a leadership training program was created in 2021, where managers of different levels learn the necessary skills and tools that help them manage themselves and others and achieve results in working with people.

Production
KRONUS provides on-the-job training, in which production employees are trained to work with equipment. We also pay a lot of attention to compliance with quality criteria. That's why we train our production colleagues to recognize different grades of timber to identify damage to pallets and pallet edges. Every employee who starts work at KRONUS is trained in a specially equipped tent, where they can learn about production from A to Z and become an experienced employee in this field.

Learning Centre
Since autumn 2022, every new production worker has been provided with a training process at our training center, where new employees are presented with their responsibilities, job specifics, and safety conditions. We have set up fully landscaped spaces where new recruits learn both theoretical and practical knowledge. The training center significantly improves the preparedness of staff to perform their duties more successfully.
KRONUS library
KRONUS is a company that is always learning! This is proven by the example of our managers, who always encourage their colleagues to read new books about people, process, change management, different theories and development as managers. We regularly replenish the KRONUS library with the latest business literature, which every employee has the opportunity to read. We learn not only from the books, which are already around 160 in the KRONUS library, but also from situations, events and our own experiences.
Employee engagement
We regularly measure the employee engagement index and see that learning, developing as a professional is what motivates people to stay at KRONUS, work hard and participate in growth with the company. The higher the qualification of the employees – the more successfully the company can overcome various situations, both in the market and inside the company. High-level specialists are those who can react even in uncertain situations, which we face every day.
